HOME LAB & SELF-HOSTED INFRASRUCTURE
Ongoing
  • Built and maintain a Linux home server running 11 self-hosted services via Docker (Kiwix, Pi-hole, Ollama, Vaultwarden, and more).
  • Configured networking, port management, and service security — directly reflecting real-world IT infrastructure and sysadmin work.
  • Manages containerized service deployments, updates, and uptime — gaining hands-on Networking experience outside the classroom
EMBEDDED LINUX WEB SERVER (OPENWRT)
2025
  • Flashed OpenWRT firmware onto a consumer router (32MB RAM, 4MB flash), repurposing it as a lightweight Linux web server.
  • Served a portfolio site using the router’s built-in httpd server, with files loaded into a RAM-mounted folder bound to the web root — working within extreme storage constraints.
  • Gained hands-on experience with embedded systems, firmware flashing, and low-level network configuration.
MORSE CODE BINARY TREE VISUALIZER
2026
  • Interactive browser-based visualizer for a 26-node Morse code binary tree — vanilla JavaScript, no dependencies.
  • Implemented full tree traversal and decoding logic from scratch.
  • Real-time path highlighting as each character is decoded through the tree.

ORDER PROCESSING & LOGISTICS ASSISTANT
BEIT ELGOMLA — ALEXANDRIA, EG
  • Processed 50+ orders daily across a 3-month period, coordinating handoff to delivery personnel while maintaining accuracy under consistent time pressure.
  • Developed attention to detail and workflow efficiency in a fast-paced operations environment.
ONGOING
INFORMAL IT SUPPORT & TROUBLESHOOTING
FREELANCE / COMMUNITY — ALEXANDRIA, EG
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware faults, software issues, and OS installations including Linux setup.
  • Assisted with server and network-related queries, translating technical concepts into clear guidance.
  • Built practical sysadmin experience outside the classroom in real-world environments.
